Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Everroam is a private memories app made by Thejas Mandya Shashidhara. This policy covers the iOS app and everroam.app, and explains what we handle and where it goes. The short version: your photo library is read on your device, your globe is visible only to you, and we never sell your data.
Data that stays on your device
The following is processed on your iPhone and never uploaded:
- Your photo library. Everroam reads the location and date already stored in your photos to group them into trips. The scan and the grouping both happen on the device. No photo is uploaded unless you attach it to a memory you save.
- Onboarding answers. What you pick during first run is used to set up your globe and is stored locally.
- Your offline cache. Memories are cached on the device so the globe works without a connection, and edits made offline are queued until you reconnect.
Data that leaves your device
- Your account and memories (Supabase). When you sign in with Apple, Google, or an email code, we store your email address, the name your provider returns, and a user identifier. We also store your profile (name, handle, home city, avatar) and the memories you save: title, place name, coordinates, date, notes, and any photos you attach. Photos and avatars go into private storage buckets readable only by your account. This is hosted in a Supabase project in the United States (AWS us-west-2).
- Purchases (RevenueCat). Apple processes the payment. RevenueCat, our subscription provider, receives purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, and an app-generated user identifier so your Pro entitlement follows your account. We never see or store your payment details.
- Crash reports (Sentry). Crashes and errors are reported with the device model, OS version, and a stack trace. Sentry is configured with personally identifying data disabled, so it never receives your memory titles, notes, or photos.
- Analytics (PostHog). Anonymous usage counts, such as which screen was opened or that a memory was created. Tap autocapture is off and session replay is off â we never record your screen. PostHog never receives your photos or the contents of your memories.
- Weather (Open-Meteo). To show the weather on the day of a memory, we send the coordinates you pinned and that date to Open-Meteo. Never your live location, and never anything that identifies you.
- Apple. The App Store handles billing, subscription management, and standard app diagnostics according to your iOS settings.
This website
everroam.app is a marketing site. It sets no cookies, has no sign-in, and collects no forms â the only way to send us anything from it is to email us. Our host records standard server request logs for security and reliability.
The site runs Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are first-party and cookieless. Between them they record the page viewed, the referring site, an approximate location derived from the request, device type, browser, operating system, and page-load timings. Visitors are counted using a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so the result is aggregate only: it is not tied to you, it is not stored against your IP address, and it cannot follow you to another website. No advertising or ad-tracking scripts run here.
App Store privacy labels
For App Store purposes the data above is reported as Name, Email Address, User ID, Photos or Videos, Precise Location, Other User Content, Purchase History, Product Interaction, Crash Data, and Performance Data. All of it is linked to you and used only for app functionality and the analytics described above. None of it is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, so Everroam shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data, to anyone, ever.
- We do not use advertising SDKs and we do not run ad tracking.
- We do not publish your globe. Nothing you pin is public or shared.
- We do not upload a photo unless you attach it to a memory you save.
Subscriptions
Everroam Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription (weekly or annual) and as a one-time Lifetime purchase, all billed by Apple. Manage or cancel a subscription any time in your Apple Account settings. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
Your choices and rights
- Delete Account, in the app under Settings, permanently erases your account, your memories, and your stored photos. It cannot be undone.
- Deleting the app removes everything cached on the device.
- Photo access is optional and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings. Everroam still works â you can pin places by hand.
- Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email hello@everroam.app and we will honor it.
Children
Everroam is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We will update this policy as the app evolves and change the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app or in the release notes.
