What app turns travel photos into a map?
Everroam. It reads the location and date already stored in your iPhone photos, groups them into trips, and drops each one onto a 3D globe as a polaroid you can spin to. The scan happens on your device â no photo is uploaded unless you attach it to a memory you save.
Is there a private alternative to Polarsteps?
Everroam is built for a globe you keep rather than a feed you post to. There is no public profile, no follower count and no feed: your globe is visible only to you unless you create a share link yourself. Everroam never tracks your live location â it reads the coordinates already in your photos, and it asks for a location only when you pin a place by hand.
How do I make a globe of the places I've visited?
Install Everroam, let it scan your photo library, and pick the trips you want to keep. Each one becomes a pin on your globe with its photos, date and city attached. You can also search a city and pin it by hand, which is how you add trips from before smartphones â or places whose photos never had location turned on.
Does Everroam upload my photo library?
No. The scan that finds your trips runs entirely on your iPhone. A photo leaves your device only when you attach it to a memory you save, and then it goes into private storage readable only by your account.
Is Everroam free?
The free tier pins one memory and lets you spin the globe as much as you like. Pro unlocks unlimited memories, photo library import, a shareable globe link, widgets, Live Activities and the Memory Passport. Plans are weekly, annual or a one-time lifetime purchase, all bought inside the app.
Is Everroam on Android?
Not yet. Everroam is an iPhone app and uses iOS features â the photo library scan, widgets, Live Activities â that have no direct equivalent in a cross-platform build. An Android version is not in progress today.
